Arden I
UNHHot super-Earth
Too close to the star, with a scorched surface and no atmosphere worth mentioning. Automated mining only.
82 G. Eridani
The breadbasket of human space. Arden's two temperate super-Earths produce more food than any system outside Sol; where Prima feeds itself and exports surplus, Arden feeds everyone else. Both colonised worlds are agricultural by design, and the system has a reputation for being quiet, conservative and deeply practical.
Hot super-Earth
Too close to the star, with a scorched surface and no atmosphere worth mentioning. Automated mining only.
Temperate super-Earth
First of the twin breadbaskets. Higher gravity than Earth-standard but manageable, with engineered crops stretching to every horizon. A population of 3 billion is concentrated in agricultural cities surrounded by farmland; primary exports are grain, protein cultures and processed foodstuffs.
Temperate super-Earth
Second breadbasket, with more varied terrain of highlands, river valleys and coastal zones. A population of 2 billion specialises in higher-value crops, livestock analogues and luxury foods. Where Verdance grows bulk calories, Providence grows flavour.
